About General Adziwa Ministry Support

Not every need can be planned for a year in advance, and not every dollar fits neatly into a single program. That's what the General Fund is for.

Gifts to this fund are undesignated, which means we can put them to work wherever the need is greatest. Some years that means covering a one-time need we didn't see coming. Other times it means closing a gap between what we budgeted and what it actually costs to operate in Malawi, where inflation can shift prices for supplies, transportation, and staff support throughout the year. And some of it simply keeps the lights on: the general operating expenses that make it possible for us to run Family Sponsorship, Class Sponsorship, the Medical Fund, Special Projects, Mission Teams, and Tertiary Education well, year after year.

Everyone is called to give, and it may look different for each person. If you'd rather not designate your gift to a specific program and instead trust us to direct it where it's needed most, this is the fund for you.
